I made it to Cape Town...and here was the view from my
hotel room window this afternoon! I'll go exploring a little
tomorrow, since I don't start teaching until Monday

Yes...I did. It's so much like Britain and USGC weather that I ALWAYS bring my brolly anyway! We'll see what it's like tomorrow -- but the hotel runs a shuttle to the waterfront area every hour. That's the safest way for me to get to/from there -- on my own.
