When my brother first trained as an engineer he was working on plant machinery. I always thought he meant tractors! Good job I never said that out loud!
Yeah, that sign is a classic. I always used to quite like "PLEASE DRIVE CAREFULLY CHILDREN" which probably needed some punctuation.
Yes, I've always had strange mental flashes of triffid-like sycamore trees glowering at me (can a tree glower?) as I round a corner too fast.I always liked 'Caution Slow Children'.'Behave yourself Igor!''Duuuuhhh ...'
My favorite sign is still "Free recovery. Await rescue." I keep looking for a knight on a white horse when I see that...
I never thought of it as a heavy plant crossing the road. LOL! But I now understand what you mean.
