"Better Look Out" - Andrew Kreider, 2005

There are a lot of British road signs which make me chuckle. This is one of my favorites...

Recently, hiding in our back garden at home, we found the "heavy plant". John is about 6'1". So you can see that the plant is quite tall, too.

When my brother first trained as an engineer he was working on plant machinery. I always thought he meant tractors! Good job I never said that out loud!

Yeah, that sign is a classic. I always used to quite like "PLEASE DRIVE CAREFULLY CHILDREN" which probably needed some punctuation.

Yes, I've always had strange mental flashes of triffid-like sycamore trees glowering at me (can a tree glower?) as I round a corner too fast.

I always liked 'Caution Slow Children'.

'Behave yourself Igor!'
'Duuuuhhh ...'

My favorite sign is still "Free recovery. Await rescue."

I keep looking for a knight on a white horse when I see that...

I never thought of it as a heavy plant crossing the road. LOL! But I now understand what you mean.
