Or perhaps we couldn't hear the warnings, as our MP3 players were turned up too high! Sadly, my hearing has never been the same since the time I was given a course pass at a Formula 1 race in Detroit, many years ago. Sitting in the front row of a Willie Nelson concert in Houston (right in front of some gigantic speakers) back in the 70's didn't help either.
