This is Burns Night for our Scottish friends...including my friend Milky Bar Kid. Other than knowing a little bit about Robert Burns, I wasn't aware of the existence of Burns Night until I moved to the UK four years ago.

Thanks for Blogging about Rabbie Burns and Burns Night. We tried to cook Haggis, neeps and tatties in the micro as our kitchen is still awaiting a new hob. The haggis was good but the tatties and neeps were still hard even after an extra long blast. So we had Haggis, lumpy neeps & lumpy tatties. Horrible! Not recommended.
