MORE "It's Not Easy Being Green" - Kermit the Frog, 1976?
OK...this story has just fallen into my lap...and it's the perfect followup (colorwise, anyway) to yesterday's post.

Truth is indeed stranger than fiction. They've named the pup "Wasabi"!
And (sorry to my friend Steve)...but... only in California, huh?

I read your blog about green puppies yesterday morning around 11, after skipping breakfast, and found myself starving. For sushi, not puppies.
I headed to local grocer that employs a sushi...guy, and picked out my lunch. There was a sweet mexican girl that checked me out, and she analyzed the sushi carefully, before asking me "are you supposed to eat that raw?" I told her yes, and she asked me, "Do YOU?"
I admitted yes, but the idea that I might run back to work and pop into into the microwave for 2 minutes cracked me up.
I used to have a T-shirt comparing sushi to "bait"...and also with some cooking instuctions. It disappeared MANY moves ago...but you've brought it back to mind!
