HAPPY BIRTHDAY, Your Majesty!

In case you haven't heard, Queen Elizabeth is 80 years old today. The BBC's website has a special section to celebrate the event.

How impressive to still be working at 80! And I suspect the lady works very hard.

The bells from the Christ Church Cathedral tower, just down the street from my office here in Oxford, rang for a couple of hours through the middle of the day today. I assume these were in celebration of the Queen's birthday.

Good for them. And good for her! I hope she has a terrific birthday bash tonight.
